Content & creativity / Practical guide

AI can help shape an idea. The promise you make to a guest should stay grounded in the real property.

The short answer

Use AI to support storyboarding, draft scripts and content planning. Build property marketing from accurate photographs and footage, review every claim, and label illustrative concepts clearly. Do not present invented rooms, views or amenities as features of a bookable stay.

Start with the real experience

Choose one story a guest can actually experience: breakfast outside, a walk to a nearby place or how a group shares the living space. Verify the practical details before writing a script.

Keep a small approved asset library with property names, permissions and current facility information. Record which images show the property itself and which are illustrations or destination context.

Use AI in the planning process

Ask for alternative hooks, a draft shot list or a short storyboard based on verified property facts. Treat the output as a draft to review. A fluent description is not evidence that a feature exists.

A simple structure is setting, experience and next step: establish the real place, show one authentic moment, then tell the viewer where to learn more.

Keep the visuals honest

Avoid alterations that change the guest’s understanding of size, outlook, condition or facilities. If a concept shows a proposed renovation, clearly identify it as a concept and keep it separate from current booking imagery.

Check practical details too: seasonal pool access, services by arrangement and the distance to local places. Use original footage and photographs wherever they help people evaluate the actual stay.

Connect the film to a useful page

Link the film to the property or guide it introduces. Repeat the key facts in readable text so viewers do not need to infer everything from a video.

Google’s guidance on AI search features recommends accessible textual content and relevant high-quality images or video. It does not require a special AI optimisation file or schema. Our recommendation is to build helpful pages around the questions guests need answered.

Common questions

Should a vacation rental use AI-generated property images?

For booking decisions, prioritise accurate images of the actual stay. Clearly label any illustrative concepts and avoid suggesting that invented rooms, views or amenities are available.

What is a useful first AI-assisted project?

Create a storyboard from verified property facts and existing approved footage. Review the script, then produce a short film with one clear guest experience and one next step.

How should I judge the film’s results?

Review relevant property visits, enquiries and bookings alongside views and engagement. A large view count alone does not establish commercial success.
