Quarterly hospitality briefings
Studio perspectives · September 2026

Worth a closer look.

A beautiful feed is only the beginning of the guest journey.

Hospitality is visual. Light, space and setting help a guest imagine being there. But prospective guests also need practical answers: where is it, does the layout work for their group, and how do they book?

Balance atmosphere with answers

Show the long lunch, then explain the dining arrangement. Show the coast, then clarify the journey from the airport. Share genuine guest reviews with permission. Each piece of content should do a useful job.

Measure more than attention

Views and saves describe attention. Enquiries and confirmed stays describe different stages. Keep these measures separate and be clear when a booking cannot be attributed to one source.

Try this: label your last nine posts “imagine”, “understand”, “trust” or “act”. Which part of the guest journey needs more support?

What belongs in a useful quarterly hospitality brief?

A report earns its place when it helps an owner make a decision. Its publication date and the period covered by its data should both be clear.

Start with the source

Check the publisher, geography and accommodation type. A national hotel statistic is not a prediction for a single holiday home. Compare like-for-like periods and identify the limits of the evidence.

Separate facts from interpretation

The source tells us what was measured. Our interpretation suggests what a hospitality operator could investigate. Neither should be presented as a guaranteed outcome.

End with one decision, one person responsible and one review date—not another dashboard nobody uses.

Before your next campaign, sharpen the property brief.

A useful campaign starts with the real details of the stay, not a generic list of trending sounds.

Tell us what makes the experience different

Identify the priority guest, location, room layout, distinctive amenities, local experiences and dates you want to support. Separate verified property facts from ideas that still need checking.

Prepare the creative essentials

Gather approved photos, footage, brand preferences and permissions to use the assets. Choose one person to consolidate feedback. Never send guest records or account passwords in a creative brief.

A focused brief makes it easier to produce relevant content and review it consistently.
